CMPA-098 - Introduction to Computers

This is an introductory course recommended for students who have had limited exposure to computers. Major emphasis will be place on basic computer concepts, terminology, and hands-on experience. The exercises are designed to develop and enhance computer skills. The course will cover topics such as computer concepts, the Windows operating system, the Internet, and the latest word processing software program. Upon completion of this course students will take Computer Applications (CMPA-161) which meets the computer literacy graduation requirement.
