CHEM-203 - General Chemistry 24 credits A continuation of CHEM-103 . Critical thinking is stimulated through the solution of multi-step problems. Topics include: chemical bonding; molecular geometry and hybridization; intermolecular forces; solutions; kinetics; chemical equilibrium; acids and bases; thermodynamic functions; electrochemistry. Three one-hour lectures and one three-hour lab per week.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM-103 ;
Corequisite(s): CHEM-203L
Mass Transfer Block: Credits earned in this course are counted towards the MassTransfer Block Natural or Physical Science requirements.
