BIOL-146 - Essentials of Human Biology 1

3 credits
This course will present an overview of human anatomy and physiology with an introduction to microbiology. Interaction of all body systems is discussed with emphasis on those topics relating to Cosmetology. Specific topics included are cell structure, tissue, and the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. High school Biology and/or Chemistry is a prerequisite of this course. RESTRICTED TO STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE COSMETOLOGY PROGRAM.

Corequisite(s): BIOL-146L

Mass Transfer Block: Credits earned in this course are counted towards the MassTransfer Block Natural or Physical Science requirements.
