ARTS-140 - Art History: Prehistoric to Gothic3 credits Art History is a survey of the major visual arts of the western world: architecture, painting and sculpture of the Paleolithic Era, Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, the Aegean, Greece and Rome, Early Christianity and Islam, the Romanesque and Gothic periods. The course is designed to help the student to understand the impulse behind the key monuments in the history of western art.
Mass Transfer Block: Credits earned in this course are counted towards the MassTransfer Block Humanities and Fine Arts requirements.
