INHC-301 - Muscle Structure and Function4 credits A study of the musculo-skeletal system with emphasis on the structure and functions of muscle tissue in the body. Demonstration of the Knowledge of the Origin, Insertion, Action and patterning of muscle fiber directions for all the major muscles of the body will be required. Students will construct the major muscles on a skeletal model for a kinesthetic and visual awareness of how to apply massage techniques appropriately.
