GRPH-463 - Digital Illustration Techniques3 credits This lecture and laboratory course covers the rendering of images for illustration. Students will learn the techniques of drawing with a computer. In the lecture part of the course the topics discussed will include visual composition, form, space, perspective, color and a bit of modern art history, as well as Postscript and EPS format. The laboratory portion of the course will focus on exercises and projects using the Adobe Illustrator vector-based drawing program and the Adobe Acrobat PDF program.
