RDG-132 - Image Production and Evaluation

This course is a continuation of RDG 113 Equipment Operation and Maintenance. Topics introduced include scatter reduction techniques, computed radiography (CR), digital radiography (DR), Image intensification fluoroscopy (II) and flat panel detectors (FPD). Concepts related to image quality, receptor exposure, contrast resolution, spatial resolution, and distortion are also included in this course. Lab sessions provide students with hands-on practice of the concepts presented in class.
