SPN-101 - Elementary Spanish 13 credits This course introduces the student to the basic grammatical structure of the Spanish language, with emphasis on pronunciation and Latin American culture. Intense oral drills review vocabulary used in real life situation and cultural themes connected with the Hispanic world. A contrast between English and Spanish and the use of cognates increases comprehension and vocabulary.
Prerequisite(s): Placement at ENG-101 or its equivalent or permission of the instructor.
Mass Transfer Block: Credits earned in this course are counted towards the MassTransfer Block Humanities and Fine Arts requirements.
