Computer-Aided Manufacturing - CCAM.COC

This program prepares the student for an entry level position as a part programmer using CNC programming software. The student will be able to take a part print, determine the appropriate method for manufacturing, program the part, set up, and run CNC machinery. Students who complete the required course of study in CAM will be prepared for employment as a computer numeric controlled (CNC) programmer, 3D machining and modeling technician, CNC machine operator, or software integration technician.

Upon the successful completion of the requirements for this program, a Certificate of Completion in Computer-Aided Manufacturing will be awarded.

MET-150 - Fundamentals of CNC 2 credits
MET-150L - Lab: Fundamentals of CNC 1 credits
MET-151 - CNC Applications 2 credits
MET-151L - Lab: CNC Applications 2 credits
MET-160 - Engineering Graphics With Solid Works 2 credits
MET-160L - Lab: Engineering Graphics W/ Solid Works 1 credits
MET-230 - CAM 2 3 credits
MET-231 - Lab: CAM 2 1 credits
ENG-101 - English Composition 1 3 credits
MAT-124 - Technical Math 1 4 credits
