FINC-101 - Personal Finance1 credits The basic foundations of financial planning are presented to prepare students to make informed choices in a consumer decision-making framework that leads to long-term financial security. Students learn to identify and evaluate choices and understand the consequences of their financial decisions. Topics include an overview of financial goal setting, budgeting, consumer buying, savings, credit cards, debt, student loans, loans, credit, investments, real estate, insurance and retirement planning. This course is offered through the School of Continuing Education only.
