CIVL-310 - Surveying 14 credits The theory and practice of construction surveying. Field practice is given in the use of tape, level, total station and data collectors. This is a laboratory-oriented course encompassing baseline, different, profile and cross-section leveling, establishment of contours, traverse closures, construction stakeout of buildings and property lines, and development of topographic maps utilizing engineering software and data collector input from field operations.
