PTA-203 - Introductory Supervised Clinical Experience

1 credits
This course introduces senior students to supervised clinical experience through a combination of simulated patient interactions, campus rehab clinic patient visits, interdisciplinary experiences (when available), case study presentations, and online learning modules. These structured experiences provide opportunities to develop professional behaviors, collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, and apply clinical skills acquired throughout the curriculum. The semester culminates in a clinical readiness practical, where students demonstrate their ability to integrate knowledge and skills in realistic simulated scenarios, preparing them for future clinical practice.
