The Pathway to Nursing course is designed to prepare students for success in nursing education and future nursing practice. Through a robust curriculum, students develop foundational knowledge and basic concepts of reading, math, science, and English. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, communication, test-taking strategies, and study skills to excel academically. Additionally, the course promotes organization, prioritization, and wellness strategies to support students’ overall well-being, preparing them effectively for success in nursing school and future professional practice. This course is designed to prepare pre-nursing students for success in their future nursing program to assist with Nursing Academic Readiness to learn and review critical skills essential for nursing program success. Incorporating an interactive software program that will serve as a comprehensive learning tool tailored to nursing education, offering interactive resources, assessments, and remediation tools aimed at strengthening student competencies.
