CIT-201 - Database Systems and Security3 credits The goal of this course is for students to become knowledgeable in the design, development, management, and security of a relational database system. The course introduces database syntax using Structured Query Language (SQL) within the ORACLE database environment. The students will have experience in writing queries to retrieve as well as DML, DDL, DCL and transactions processing. Database security topics such as security threats, SQL injection and access privileges will be covered to promote secure and reliable database environments.
