COL-113 - Human Services/Social Work Exploration1 credits This course is an introduction to the Human Services/Social Work program. It will provide students with an overview of the program as well as transfer, licensure, and career opportunities. Students will critically reflect upon their personal interests, strengths, and experiences and how these connect to educational pathways, transfer opportunities, and career options. Students will explore the different populations human services/social work program graduates serve and evaluate which they are most interested working with. This course will help students identify the appropriate field placement opportunities in order to fulfill the program’s practicum requirement.
