2creditsThis course builds on the information presented in the physical dysfunction classes during the prior semester. In order for some patients to improve or maintain their functional capabilities in the home, workplace, and community, they may need special equipment or electronic technology. Students will learn about a variety of assistive devices and modalities such as wheelchairs, adaptive control switches, and computer systems. This is a web-assisted course; all class meetings are held on-site, supplemental materials are available on Blackboard.
