HIT-122 - Introduction to Procedural Coding

3 credits

This course is a comprehensive study of CPT-4 procedural coding. Outpatient and professional coding for evaluation and management, anesthesia, surgery, pathology, laboratory, radiology and medicine will be emphasized. This course will also explore coding for emergency rooms, physicians’ offices, professional services at inpatient facilities and outpatient facilities.
