ENG-104 - Eng Comp 2: Technical and Professional Writing3 credits In this course, students will continue to build upon the critical thinking and composition skills introduced and developed in English Composition 1. Students will consider the audiences, purposes, and genres of specific writing situations and follow a writing process to produce reports for technical and professional settings. In addition to contextual and ethical aspects of professional communication, students will become familiar with the academic and practical research used in professional contexts and use researched information to support an original report using a career-appropriate writing and documentation style.
Prerequisite(s): ENG-101 ( minimum grade C-).
Mass Transfer Gen Ed Foundation: Credits earned in this course are counted towards the Mass Transfer Gen Ed Foundation’s English Composition/Writing requirements.
