ENG-226 - Magic in Literature3 credits Magic is defined as the influencing of everyday events through the use of supernatural forces. This course focuses on works of fiction that utilize various components of magic to illustrate the life-changing effect of magical elements, including dragons, potions, spells, and wands, on the human condition. The genres will include novels, short stories, and films.
Prerequisite(s): ENG-102 (minimum grade C-).
Mass Transfer Gen Ed Foundation: Credits earned in this course are counted towards the Mass Transfer Gen Ed Foundation’s Humanities and Fine Arts requirements.
