CIT-251 - Advanced Information Security Topics3 credits This course is an extension of Information Security: Foundations. The course will teach modern data protection procedures in depth. Students will examine the purposes, goals, and methodologies of security and risk audits, including penetration testing. Students will learn the methodologies and practices of secure system design. The course will instruct on the need for and execution of digital incident response plans and teams. The students will also examine the purposes, goals, and methodologies of digital forensics.
