ART-150 - Introduction to Photography2 credits This studio course is an introduction to the materials, processes, and aesthetic considerations in traditional black and white darkroom photography using conventional 35mm film cameras. Students will shoot, develop, and print a series of photographs focusing on individual expression, technical development, and principles of pictorial composition. Students are required to have access to their own 35mm manually operated camera. No previous art background is required. Five in-class hours weekly.
