MAT-074 - Pre-Statistics

This is a pre-college level lecture course to prepare students for Statistics. Topics include place value system, order of operations, fractions, and operations with these numbers. Additional topics include decimal notation, percent notation, and conversions between decimal, fractional, and percent notation, and basic statistical measures. Also included is an introduction to Algebra, operations of integers, evaluate variable expressions, and solving equations and formulas. Also collecting, displaying, and interpretation of small data sets will be covered.

This is a developmental course. Credit for this course will not be counted toward fulfilling graduation requirements at STCC.
