MAT-050 - Geometry and MCAS Preparation

4 credits

This is a course in Geometry. Topics include congruence and transformations of two-dimensional figures, similar and right triangles, circles, expressing geometric properties with equations.Topics also include geometric measuring and dimension, coordinate geometry, using formulas to solve problems. Additional topics are in Statistics and Probability including interpreting categorical and quantitative data for single and two categories.

This is a developmental course. Credit for this course will not be counted toward fulfilling graduation requirements at STCC. This course is restricted to students in the Gateway to College program.
