CLER-204 - Introduction to Machine Transcription

This course is an introduction to basic transcript techniques with emphasis on spelling, grammar, punctuation, number usage, and capitalization. Vocational competence in machine transcription is the principle goal. Developing good listening techniques, producing first-time mailable business communications, and learning the importance of machine dictation and transcription in the word processing cycle are the important objectives of this course.
